education – DIGIWATRO
Project
No: 20-COP-0050
Project
implementation period: 01/09/2021-31/08/2023
Project
Promoter: Universitatea “Dunărea

Intensive Programmes
for higher education students
8
students from NMBU were involved in a 7 days mobility consisting on:
- presentations on modelling, process control and
monitoring applied in the case of wastewater treatment plants. These
presentations included relevant theoretical aspects and applications in order
to familiarize the students with this topics;
- visit to 2 wastewater treatment facilities: one
used for urban wastewater (Galati wastewater treatment plant) and one used for
industrial wastewater (aquaculture plant). These visits allowed to the
participants to see the level of digitalization on wastewater treatment plants
from Romania and to compare with the situation from Norway;
- several presentations regarding different
aspects on digitalization on water industry were included as a relevant topic
for this project;
- presentation on risk assessment of urban water
infrastructure.
In
this event 4 teachers from NMBU joined the 8 students from NMBU (6 MSc students
and 2 PhD students) in a one-week event participating with presentation in this
event. Also, they were involved in all the activities together with the
students (please see above).
